Configure NetApp Filler Agent
1. Log on to Storage Manager Server http://webserver.domain.com:9000/2. Storage Arrays Add More
3. Choose NetApp filer from the Choose your Array Type menu.Click OK.
4. Select Agent: Select a Storage Manager Proxy Agent to monitor the device.
5. NetApp IP Address: Enter the NetApp filer IP.
6. Device Display Name: name-customer number
7. Active: Check the box
8. Cost Per GB: 0.
9. Click Next.
10. Status: Select On.
11. User Name: Enter the User Name
12. Password: Enter the Password
13. Transport Type: Choose HTTP or HTTPS.
14. Use Operations Manager: This field is set to False by default. When the flag is set to True, and a valid DFM Server IP Address is provided, Storage Manager requests data from the NetApp Operations Manager. If the value is set to false, Storage Manager queries the NetApp filer directly.
Note: DFM Server and Operations Manager are used synonymously in Storage Manager.
15. DFM Server IP Address: If you enter True for Use Operations Manager, enter the Operations Manager (DFM) IP address.
