TeamViewer is a computer software package for remote control, desktop sharing and file transfer between computers running either Microsoft Windows or Mac OS X which may be protected by firewalls and NAT proxy; it is also possible to access a machine running Teamviewer with a web browser. The focus of the application is to facilitate desktop support and remote control of computers but it has also collaboration and presentation features included.

The company was founded in 2005 in Uhingen, Germany and has over 15 million users operating in 50 countries worldwide.
