BGinfo is a great tool that can capture data from a local PC/Server and capture or display data. A very powerfull Free tool that can run, VBScripts, WMI, ECT. BGinfo can run standalone or through a Script. You can create your own settings file that can be custom for what you want to capture.
The below is a Sample Script on how to run BGinfo in the startup.
\\SERVER\Folder\bginfo.exe /timer:0 /i \\SERVER\Folder\DesktopImage.bgi /i
